  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. The technologist will ensure patient safety, produce high-quality images, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

     Shift Hours (Specific days of week with shift details):  Friday, Saturday, Sunday  7p-730a

    • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
     Weekend Shift Hours:  0

    • Call Requirements (Specific days of week with shift details): 2

     Required Certifications (i.e. BLS, ACLS, NRP, ARRT, AWHONN, etc.)BLS, ARRT, ISDH
     Years of Experience: 2+
    • Float Requirements: Call


    Key Responsibilities
    1. Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
    2. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety.
    3. Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results.
    4. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any concerns or complications.
    5. Review images for clarity and accuracy before submitting to radiologists for interpretation.
    6. Maintain and calibrate CT equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly.
    7. Document patient information and procedure details in electronic medical records (EMR).
    8. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
    2. Current certification/licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
    3. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    4. Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
    5. Excellent communication and patient care abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in a hospital or advanced imaging center.
    2. Familiarity with multiple CT systems and advanced imaging techniques.
    3. Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
