Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care to individuals requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Uphold infection control and patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar high-acuity setting.
- Advanced training in cardiac monitoring or critical care procedures.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
