JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to provide high-quality patient care in an operating room setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assemble and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment.
- Provide direct assistance to surgeons and surgical teams during operations.
- Ensure a sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond accordingly.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and surgical site preparation.
- Participate in surgical counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
- Manage instruments and supplies during and after surgical procedures.
- Adhere to all infection control policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Skills
- Proficiency in sterile technique and maintaining a sterile field.
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and their uses.
- Ability to anticipate surgeon's needs and respond quickly.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and anatomy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
