  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
    • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including telemetry readings.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
    • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.

    Required Qualifications
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Prior experience in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring.
    3. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

    Certifications (if any)

    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

    Requirements:

    • MA RN License & BLS (ARC or AHA) Required
    • Telemetry experience required
    • Meditech experience required
    • Floating possible to similar units
    • Travel experience required
