  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join the inpatient pharmacy team at a Level II Trauma Center in Chico, CA. The pharmacist will provide clinical pharmacy services, ensure safe and effective medication therapy, identify and resolve drug-related problems, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide clinical pharmacy services to support safe and effective medication therapy
    2. Identify and resolve drug-related problems in collaboration with the healthcare team
    3. Ensure compliance with medication safety and regulatory standards
    4. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes
    5. Utilize pharmacy systems such as Pyxis/CII Safe for inpatient operations

    Required Qualifications
    1. Active state  Pharmacist license
    2. Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience preferred
    3. Current ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
    4. Current PALS certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
    5. Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Experience with Pyxis/CII Safe systems
    2. Background in trauma center or acute care pharmacy

    Certifications
    1. ACLS required (or within one year of hire)
    2. PALS required (or within one year of hire)

    Note- Travel Exprerience Required
