  • Job Summary:
    Medical Assistant in Braintree, Mass.
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position will primarily involve patient rooming, taking vital signs, and performing a variety of clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations in the office. The ideal candidate will be experienced with EKGs, ear lavages, and exam room maintenance, and have a strong knowledge of scheduling and patient communication. Experience with Epic is preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Room patients and take vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure).
    • Perform EKGs and ear lavages.
    • Stock and maintain exam rooms to ensure they are clean and fully equipped.
    • Assist with scheduling patient appointments.
    • Manage patient messages and follow-up communications.
    • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
    • Knowledge of basic clinical procedures, including taking vitals and performing EKGs.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work with patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Experience with Epic or similar electronic health records system.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA).
    • Experience with ear lavages and exam room stocking.

    Certifications:
    • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA) (preferred).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (preferred).
