Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical team. The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from surgery or managing acute and chronic medical conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to deliver safe, efficient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and deliver direct nursing care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and professional nursing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination card.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Additional training or certifications in medical-surgical nursing.
