  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role provides direct patient care to individuals requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions, bridging the gap between intensive care and general medical-surgical nursing. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct nursing care, including patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    2. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
    3. Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in status.
    4. Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and oxygen delivery systems.
    5. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
    6. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery processes, and ongoing care needs.
    7. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
    8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control and safety standards.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree
    3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care or progressive care nursing.
    4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    5. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
    6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Prior experience in a Progressive Care Unit or step-down unit.
    2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
    3. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.

    Certifications
    1. RN license (required).
    2. ACLS certification (preferred).
    3. CCRN certification (preferred).

    Note- Travel Experience Required
