Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate CT scanning equipment and capture high-quality diagnostic images. The role includes monitoring patients during procedures, maintaining radiologic equipment, adhering to hygiene and infection control standards, and ensuring patient safety. Successful candidates will demonstrate compassion, patience, and effective communication while staying current with industry developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues
- Position patients appropriately to scan specific body areas
- Perform regular warm-up sequences on CT scanners to extend equipment life
- Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
- Interpret physicians’ written scanning instructions accurately
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
- Explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed
- Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience
- Active ARRT (CT) license for state
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings
- Proficiency with GE HD Revolution, Siemens Flash, and GE Brightspeed equipment
- Ability to manage 2–3 patients per hour
- Large hospital CT experience required

- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

- ARRT (CT) certification (Active, State)
