    JOB TITLE
    CT Technologist (Allied)

    JOB SUMMARY
    We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. This role is responsible for performing CT scans to assist physicians in diagnosis.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Perform diagnostic CT procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
    - Position patients and set up equipment to obtain the necessary diagnostic images.
    - Operate CT scanner console and associated equipment.
    - Evaluate images for technical quality and communicate with radiologists for any necessary corrective action or confirmation.
    - Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
    - Maintain patient care, comfort, and privacy throughout the procedure.
    - Document patient procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
    - Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
    - Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

    Required Qualifications
    - Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    - Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).

    - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Experience
    - Experience performing CT scans on a variety of patient populations is expected.

    Skills
    - Proficient in CT scanning techniques and protocols.
    - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
    - Ability to operate CT imaging equipment and related software.
    - Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
    - Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
