JOB SUMMARY Responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients. This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment. - Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans. - Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record. - Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team. - Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care. - Maintain a safe and clean patient environment. - Advocate for patient needs and ensure quality care delivery.
Schedule / Shift Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications - Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required. - EMR system proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a hospital setting.
Experience - 2+ years of experience in Med Surg nursing.
Skills - Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in patient education.

Floating / On-Call - Floating between units may be required.
