  • Job Summary:
    We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician responsible for managing inventory and SOX documentation at the assigned facility. This role includes purchasing, receiving, and tracking inventory, replenishing supplies, and supporting pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high reliability, organization, and team orientation in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Manage inventory including purchasing, receiving, tracking, reconciliation, put-away, and cycle counting
    2. Ensure pharmacy pick stations are stocked with medications and supplies
    3. Place approved orders for shipping and packing supplies
    4. Maintain clean and organized dispensing and back stock refrigerators
    5. Remove short-dated or expired products from active inventory
    6. Monitor product trends, shortages, and perform days’ supply monitoring
    7. Manage return goods per standard operating procedures
    8. Support inventory documentation to comply with SOX requirements
    9. Fill prescription medication orders accurately and efficiently
    10. Use manual and automated systems (e.g., EYECON counters) for medication counting
    11. Assist pharmacists with scanning and labeling medication orders
    12. Include safety caps and paperwork with orders as needed
    13. Replenish stock and perform maintenance on pill counting equipment
    14. Perform packing, shipping, and cleaning duties as needed

    Required Qualifications:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent
    2. Basic typing and data entry skills
    3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
    4. Strong organizational and time management skills
    5. Ability to follow standard operating procedures
    6. Able to apply mathematical concepts to inventory functions
    7. Ability to learn and use computer systems for data entry and communication
    8. Must be able to lift 50–70 pounds (e.g., medications, ice boxes) for 5–10% of the workday
    9. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
    10. Yearly acknowledgment of Pharmacy Tech protocol guidelines
    11. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    1. Previous pharmacy or inventory management experience preferred

    Certifications:
    1. Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred or as required by state regulations
