JOB SUMMARY
Experienced RN needed for a fast-paced Med/Surg Orthopedics & Spine unit.

Key Responsibilities
Manage care for patients with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions including stroke and head injuries, and trauma.
Perform wound care and dressing changes.
Utilize mobile communication technology for efficient team collaboration.
Adapt to evolving patient volumes and unit expansion.

Unit / Specialty
Orthopedics & Spine Specialty, Medical/Surgical

Patient Population
Adult orthopedic, neurological, and trauma patients.

Experience
Acute care hospital experience on Med/Surg or Tele units.
Experience with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and trauma patients is beneficial.

Skills
Proficiency in utilizing mobile communication tools (e.g., iMobile).
Ability to manage traction, external fixators, halos, and other orthopedic equipment.
Experience with bed alarms and continuous pulse oximetry monitoring.
Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring.
Strong wound care and dressing change skills.

BLS
NIH Certification (Preferred)

Kansas RN License

Schedule / Shift
Night Shift: 1845 - 0715 (12-hour shifts)

Floating / On-Call
Rotate through every 3rd weekend (may rotate every other if applicable).
