  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. This role is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing medical instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety and support clinical operations.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols.
    2. Inspect instruments for functionality and safety before distribution.
    3. Assemble and package instrument trays for surgical and clinical procedures.
    4. Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment usage.
    5. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
    6. Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations.

    Required Qualifications
    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Completion of a sterile processing training program or relevant healthcare experience.
    3. Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and medical terminology.
    4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    5. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in a hospital or surgical setting.
    2. Familiarity with automated sterilization equipment and tracking systems.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent certification preferred.
