  • Job Summary:
    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional clinical judgment, compassion, and efficiency in delivering patient-centered care. This role requires a strong understanding of procedures, patient safety, and the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide high-quality nursing care to acutely ill, injured, or recovering patients.
    • Perform regular patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
    • Administer medications, manage IVs, and change dressings per protocols.
    • Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Coordinate individualized care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
    • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
    • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety standards.
    • Function independently under supervision, while effectively communicating with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and unit-based goals.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required to ensure effective patient care.
    Required Qualifications:
    1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
    2. Licensure: Current and unrestricted RN license.
    3. Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
    4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    5. Proven ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in high-stress environments.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a medical-surgical nursing setting.
    • Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS) are a plus.
    • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
