  • JOB SUMMARY
    Seeking a qualified CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing CT scanners and related equipment.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Perform diagnostic CT scans as ordered by physicians.
    - Prepare patients for CT examinations, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
    - Administer contrast media safely and effectively.
    - Operate CT scanning equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
    - Perform multiplanar reconstructions (MRP) and other image processing techniques.
    - Conduct biopsies, aspirations, drainages, and CT arthrography procedures.
    - Perform specialized CT exams including head, chest, abdomen, vascular, musculoskeletal, and cervical/lumbar myelography.
    - Start peripheral IVs for contrast administration and procedures.
    - Perform brain perfusion studies and virtual colonoscopies.
    - Ensure all procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
    - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system.

    Schedule / Shift
    - 5x8 hour shifts.
    - Start times and shifts can vary: 23:00-07:30, 15:00-23:30, or 19:00-03:30.
    - Weekend work is required based on unit needs.

    Required Qualifications
    - Current BLS certification.
    - Current ARRT CT certification.
    - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
    - Experience with Siemens and Phillips CT scanners is mandatory.
    - Proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
    - Experience in Adult Acute Care and Emergency Department settings.
    - Ability to perform procedures without and/or with contrast for Head, Chest, and Abdomen imaging.
    - Experience with Vascular chest imaging (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta).
    - Competency in Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP).
    - Ability to start peripheral IVs.
    - Experience with Aspirations, Biopsies, Drainage, Colonography/Virtual Colonography, CT arthrography, Myelography (Cervical, Lumbar), and Musculoskeletal trauma imaging.
    - Experience with Brain perfusion and Thoracic imaging.

    Preferred Qualifications
    - Experience within the last year is acceptable since "1st time OK" is noted.
