Job Description:

  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. The PTA will assist patients in improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function through prescribed treatment plans.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Implement treatment programs designed by the supervising Physical Therapist
    2. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
    3. Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist
    4. Educate patients and families on proper techniques for exercises and home programs
    5. Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions
    6. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
    2. Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
    3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    4. Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, patients, and families

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

    Certifications
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
