  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – PCU Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service, and resource utilization in daily operations. This role ensures a safe and supportive environment of care, delivers competent and compassionate patient care, and serves as a role model for organizational values. The Clinical Supervisor also leads and participates in departmental process improvement initiatives and facilitates employee engagement activities, including professional/shared governance participation.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide shift-to-shift oversight for clinical practice and staffing needs
    2. Manage patient flow, safety, and service quality
    3. Ensure effective utilization of resources for daily operations
    4. Deliver age-appropriate, competent, and compassionate patient care
    5. Serve as a role model for organizational values and professional conduct
    6. Lead and participate in departmental process improvement projects
    7. Facilitate employee engagement and shared governance activities

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district
    2. Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
    3. Minimum of 2 years RN experience
    4. Minimum of 2 years Clinical Supervisor and PCU experience
    5. NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
    6. Experience with Cerner electronic health record system

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly desired

    Certifications (if any)
    1. NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
    2. BLS (Basic Life Support)
    3. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
