Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – PCU Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service, and resource utilization in daily operations. This role ensures a safe and supportive environment of care, delivers competent and compassionate patient care, and serves as a role model for organizational values. The Clinical Supervisor also leads and participates in departmental process improvement initiatives and facilitates employee engagement activities, including professional/shared governance participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide shift-to-shift oversight for clinical practice and staffing needs
- Manage patient flow, safety, and service quality
- Ensure effective utilization of resources for daily operations
- Deliver age-appropriate, competent, and compassionate patient care
- Serve as a role model for organizational values and professional conduct
- Lead and participate in departmental process improvement projects
- Facilitate employee engagement and shared governance activities
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Minimum of 2 years Clinical Supervisor and PCU experience
- NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly desired
