JOB SUMMARY Provide occupational therapy services to patients to improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities - Evaluate patients to assess their physical, cognitive, and perceptual abilities. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to facilitate patient recovery and functional independence. - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
Schedule / Shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. - Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
Certifications - NBCOT certification is required.
Experience - Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EMR / Systems - Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
Patient Population - Adults and geriatrics.
Unit / Specialty - Therapy
Floating / On-Call - May be required to float to other related units as needed.
