  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Lab Scientist to perform complex laboratory testing and analysis that supports patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves conducting a wide range of laboratory procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver reliable results.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and other disciplines
    2. Analyze specimens and interpret test results with precision and accuracy
    3. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
    4. Ensure compliance with quality control, safety, and regulatory standards
    5. Document and report test results in electronic medical record systems
    6. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
    7. Participate in laboratory audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives

    Required Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
    2. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent
    3. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, instruments, and safety protocols
    4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    5. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
    6. Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Prior experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting
    2. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHR)

    Certifications
    • ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification preferred
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required depending on facility
