    JOB TITLE: Cath Lab Technician

    JOB SUMMARY
    Provides direct patient care and technical assistance within the Cardiovascular Laboratory. Supports physicians and nurses in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
    - Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
    - Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures.
    - Perform scrub duties as required.
    - Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment.
    - Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care.
    - Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
    - Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
    - Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.

    Schedule / Shift
    - Variable shift start time: 0630 - 0830
    - Shift end time: 1500 - 1700
    - Call: Based on department needs, currently 1-2 weeknights (1700-0700) and 1 weekend per month (Friday 1700 - Monday 0700). Holidays covered by call as needed.

    Required Qualifications
    - RCIS or ARRT certification.
    - BLS certification.
    - ACLS certification.
    - 3-5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
    - Ability to monitor and scrub procedures.
    - Experience with EPIC system.
    - Travel experience is preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications
    - Experience with a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
    - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

    Certifications
    - BLS (Basic Life Support)
    - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    - RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

    Experience
    - 3-5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
    - Travel experience.
