Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating computerized tomography equipment and will play a vital role in capturing accurate diagnostic images. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
- Position patients correctly to ensure optimal imaging of specific body areas.
- Perform regular warm-up procedures on CT scanners to maintain equipment and prolong the life of X-ray tubes.
- Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment to uphold safety standards.
- Interpret and follow written scanning instructions from physicians accurately.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to improve image clarity.
- Assess CT scans to ensure technical accuracy and diagnostic quality.
- Clearly explain procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support throughout the process.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a CT Technologist.
- Valid State license.
- Strong understanding of imaging techniques and patient positioning.
- Covid-19 vaccination required.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience working in a fast-paced clinical or hospital environment.
Certifications (if any)
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
