JOB SUMMARY Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in Radiology and CT departments, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality.
Key Responsibilities - Reviews patient history and physician's orders to determine appropriate imaging procedures. - Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and expectations to ensure understanding and cooperation. - Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications as ordered and within the scope of practice. - Continuously monitors patient condition, reporting and responding to changes in status. - Prepares necessary equipment and supplies for imaging procedures. - Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment. - Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as needed. - Positions patients and performs imaging procedures accurately. - Analyzes imaging results for quality and identifies issues. - Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures. - Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
Experience - 2 years of recent experience in Radiology. - 2 years of recent experience in CT.
Skills - Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures. - Knowledge of contrast media administration. - Patient monitoring and assessment. - Equipment operation and troubleshooting. - Quality control and safety standards implementation.
