Job Summary
Seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the National Customer Care Center team. The technician will provide front-line customer service and support to members, prescribers, and pharmacies. This role focuses on resolving inquiries related to pharmacy benefits while ensuring high standards of accuracy, productivity, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide real-time support for pharmacies with point-of-service inquiries
• Educate prescribers about formulary and prior authorization processes
• Enter customer data and documentation accurately in system tools
• Assist members with inquiries regarding their pharmacy benefits
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure handling accuracy and efficiency
• Communicate issues and resolutions effectively to customers and internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of recent PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) and/or pharmacy experience
• High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience in a customer service or call center environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Certifications
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, NCCT, or ExCPT) preferred
