JOB SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in both cardiac care and pediatric critical care, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive and specialized nursing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PICU
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in patient assessment and care planning
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Required Qualifications

• 5 years cardiac experience
• 5 years straight PICU experience (Not floating)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
• Basic Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support
