Job Description:

  • JOB SUMMARY
    To perform a variety of diagnostic CT procedures on patients of all ages according to physician's orders and departmental protocols, ensuring quality patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, following physicians' orders and departmental policies.
    - Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
    - Position patients correctly for optimal imaging.
    - Ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards.
    - Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and addressing concerns.
    - Maintain patient records and documentation using the EMR system.
    - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    - Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety standards.
    - Clean and maintain imaging equipment and work areas.

    Schedule / Shift
    3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

    Required Qualifications
    - ARRT (CT) certification
    - BLS certification

    Preferred Qualifications
    - Experience with GE equipment
    - Experience with Meditech EMR system
    - RT (T) certification
    - ASRT membership
    - FASRT certification

    Experience
    - Experience operating GE CT scanners and related imaging equipment.
    - Experience with diagnostic imaging procedures including CT scans, MRI, body scanning, and X-rays.
    - Experience creating accurate visual assessments of bones, organs, and tissues.
