plaintext JOB SUMMARY Seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures within the Interventional Radiology department. - Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures, including special procedures, angioplasty, IVC filter placement, and IVC filter removal. - Prepare and maintain sterile fields for procedures. - Operate fluoroscopy equipment. - Document patient care and procedures in the electronic health record.
Schedule / Shift - 40 hours per week - 5x8 Day shift (08:00-16:30) or 4x10s - Orientation every Monday - ASAP start date
Required Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology. - Must have completed at least one travel assignment. - Proficient in Interventional Radiology techniques and special procedures. - Experience with Angioplasty, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, and Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter removal. - Skilled in using Fluoroscopy. - Ability to prep access sites. - Competent in scrubbing and maintaining sterile fields with sterile technique.
Preferred Qualifications - ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI).
Certifications - ARRT (R) - Radiography - ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - MD State License
Experience - 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology. - Previous travel assignment experience.
