Job Summary
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care across family medicine and primary care settings. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinic operations, and promoting wellness through preventive health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary and family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Offer health counseling and disposition planning to patients and families.
- Perform routine examinations and handle patient appointments to ensure positive health outcomes.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to evaluate and treat injuries or illnesses.
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and encourage active participation in their healthcare.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
- Support administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Deliver services including health screenings, behavioral health and wellness programs, and chronic condition management.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Active state license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience working in multiple clinical settings as a float provider.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
Certifications (if any)
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (National Board).
- State of Employment Advanced Practice Nurse license.
