  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN-ER) to join our fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing immediate and effective care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries, triaging cases based on severity, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes under pressure.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on urgency and medical need.
    2. Deliver high-quality nursing care in emergency situations, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and neurological cases.
    3. Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as prescribed.
    4. Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments, and update care teams accordingly.
    5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
    6. Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and assist with procedures.
    7. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive emergency care.
    8. Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
    9. Adhere to infection control policies and emergency protocols, including CPR and advanced life support practices.
    10. Remain calm and efficient during high-stress, high-acuity situations.

    Required Qualification
    1. Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
    2. Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
    3. Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Experience with trauma-certified facilities or Level I/II trauma centers.
    3. Familiarity with electronic charting systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
    2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required
    3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred
    4. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – preferred
    5. Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN) – a plus
