JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with First Assist capabilities to join a dynamic surgical team. This role will provide direct assistance to the surgeon during operative procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon during operative and diagnostic procedures by preparing the operating room, ensuring sterile technique is maintained, and providing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide requested instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
- Perform surgical counts of sponges, needles, and instruments.
- Participate in the postoperative care of the patient.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Schedule / Shift
- 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Required Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Must possess First Assist credentials and demonstrate proficiency in first assisting during surgical procedures.
- Current BLS certification.

Certifications
- NBSTSA Certification
- BLS

Experience
- Proven experience as a First Assist in an Operating Room setting.

Skills
- Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
- Excellent understanding of sterile technique and infection control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to anticipate surgeon's needs.
