JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care inpatient setting. This role will primarily manage a caseload with a focus on Orthopedics, within a Stroke Certified Center.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercises, and safety precautions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10 patients.

Schedule / Shift
Shift: 10-Hour Days
Weekend Req: Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per month.

Required Qualifications
- Valid State Physical Therapy License.
- BLS certification.

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care inpatient physical therapy experience required.
- Experience with orthopedic caseloads preferred.
- Experience within a Stroke Certified Center is a plus.

- Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in patient education.
