  • JOB SUMMARY
    We are seeking an Occupational Registered Nurse to provide nursing assessments, treatment, and care recommendations for employees experiencing illness or injury within a workplace setting. This role involves delivering medical care, documenting findings, supporting safety and health programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in employee health management, emergency response, and return-to-work programs.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Perform nursing assessments, take vital signs, evaluate injuries/illnesses, and provide appropriate treatment within RN scope of practice  
    • Document and maintain medical records in compliance with regulatory and confidentiality requirements  
    • Support and participate in the site’s Emergency Response Program  
    • Manage disability cases by coordinating with insurance carriers, benefits teams, and healthcare providers  
    • Facilitate absence management and return-to-work programs through post-injury and illness management processes  
    • Track and manage FMLA requests in accordance with legal and company policies  
    • Conduct regulatory-required health surveillance exams  
    • Participate in workplace health and safety initiatives such as wellness programs, flu shots, and fitness activities  
    • Assist in pandemic preparedness planning and response  
    • Coordinate with external occupational medical providers as needed  
    • Manage and maintain medical inventory  
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse  
    • Active and current state RN license  
    • Current CPR certification  
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)  
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills  
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Electronic Medical Records systems  
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN or COHN-S)  
    • Experience in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Medical/Surgical nursing  
    • Experience in a manufacturing or corporate health environment  
    • Ability to promote and support health and safety initiatives creatively  
    CERTIFICATIONS
