JOB SUMMARY The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process. This role involves managing patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The Registered Nurse is expected to demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe care. This includes maintaining clinical competencies, delegating care priorities appropriately, and providing supervision to assigned personnel.
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process. - Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care management. - Anticipate and plan for the safe delivery of patient care. - Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. - Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Schedule / Shift Per Diem: Nights
Required Qualifications - Must possess a California RN license. - Must have ACLS certification. - Must have BLS certification.
