Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare facility.
- Triage patients based on their medical condition and prioritize care appropriately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Assist with medical procedures and provide support to physicians and emergency staff.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting.
- Strong assessment, clinical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – preferred.
