JOB SUMMARY Provide diagnostic imaging services using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment.
Key Responsibilities - Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and physician's orders. - Position patients and equipment to obtain the required anatomical views. - Administer contrast media as needed, following safety guidelines. - Monitor patient comfort and safety during the procedure. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance. - Adhere to radiation safety protocols and departmental policies. - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Schedule / Shift - Monday through Thursday, 4/10 hour shifts. - Shift hours: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM. - On-call rotation required from 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM.
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - Current state license as required.
Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
Certifications - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills - Proficiency in MRI imaging techniques and protocols. - Knowledge of MRI physics and safety procedures. - Ability to operate MRI equipment and related accessories. - Strong patient care and communication skills.
