JOB SUMMARY Seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist patients in regaining strength, mobility, and function to improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities - Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. - Instruct and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities. - Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist. - Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. - Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. - Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Experience - Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Certifications - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Proficient in performing therapeutic exercises and modalities. - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
EMR / Systems EMR system experience is beneficial.
Patient Population Adults and geriatric patients requiring rehabilitation services.
Unit / Specialty Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing Facility
Floating / On-Call May be required to float to other related departments as needed.
