Job Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and executing recruitment activities to attract and hire qualified candidates across clinical, allied health, and other assigned business lines. This role collaborates with hiring managers and recruitment teams to ensure requisitions are filled efficiently, while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and employment laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities for assigned business lines.
- Collaborate with Senior Recruiters and Associate Recruiters to ensure requisitions are filled effectively.
- Collect and process requisitions to fill new or vacant positions.
- Conduct strategy meetings with hiring managers to clarify expectations and provide updates.
- Create communication plans that align recruitment activities with business objectives.
- Coordinate job ad placement with internal and external agents.
- Identify and screen internal and external candidates through job postings, referrals, and interviews (phone, in-person, or virtual).
- Develop and recommend job offer details to hiring managers, ensuring internal equity.
- Deliver and negotiate job offers or rejections to candidates.
- Actively participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Post jobs through internal and external media, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques.
- Maintain applicant data including interviewer recommendations and assessment results.
- Conduct recruitment activities such as job fairs, conferences, and campus events.
- Serve as liaison between hiring managers and staffing agencies/search firms when approved.
- Maintain updated candidate status in the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance.
- Advise hiring managers and participate in selection decision-making meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Broad experience recruiting across multiple skill sets and job functions.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Highly organized with ability to manage a high volume of requisitions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and advanced sourcing tools.
- Prior experience in healthcare or corporate recruitment.
Certifications (if any)
- One of the following is required prior to start or within 12 months of hire:
- SHRM – Senior Certified Professional (SCP)
- SHRM – Certified Professional (CP)
- HRCI – Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
- HRCI – Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
