  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst to build, support, and maintain laboratory and pathology information systems across hospital facilities. This role ensures system efficiency, regulatory compliance, and supports integrated testing initiatives. The LIS Analyst will collaborate with lab staff, IT teams, and hospital departments to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and support system upgrades.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Maintain and support Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
    • Participate in system integration and multi-department testing.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in lab environments.
    • Collaborate with lab staff, IT teams, and hospital departments to improve workflows.
    • Support system upgrades, implementations, and optimizations.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and updates.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Lab Science, Computer Science, or related field.
    2. 2+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Senior Analyst in healthcare.
    3. Hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
    4. Strong understanding of hospital and laboratory workflows.
    5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with system integration projects in healthcare.
    • Familiarity with pathology workflows and compliance standards.
    • Prior experience supporting LIS upgrades and optimizations.

    Certifications
    • None required; healthcare IT or LIS-related certifications are a plus.
