Job Description:

  • Job Summary:
    - Provide direct nursing care to patients in an OB triage clinic setting.
    - Handle approximately 25-40 calls and 6 nurse visits daily.
    - Support and coordinate patient care in accordance with established protocols.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
    - Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
    - Implement and monitor patient care plans.
    - Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
    - Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
    - Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
    - Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

    Required Qualifications:
    - OB/GYN experience required.
    - Valid nursing license.
    - Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
    - Ability to manage high call volumes and nurse visits.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    - Previous OB triage experience is a plus.
    - Experience in working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

    Certifications:
    - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
