JOB SUMMARY Provide physical therapy services to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Assist patients in regaining strength, mobility, and their overall quality of life through therapeutic exercises and treatments.
Key Responsibilities - Implement established treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists. - Instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities. - Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist. - Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety measures. - Maintain accurate and timely patient records. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Schedule / Shift Variable shifts may be available.
Required Qualifications - Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. - Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certifications - Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License - Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience - Experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility setting is preferred.
Skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Excellent documentation skills. - Proficient in therapeutic exercise techniques.
