JOB SUMMARY
Provide direct patient care and technical assistance in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology Laboratory, performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor patients during cardiac catheterization and/or electrophysiology procedures.
- Assist physician with procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
- Operate GE and Philips X-ray systems and other specialized equipment.
- Utilize Volcano IVUS/FFR and Merge Hemo for data acquisition and analysis.
- Manage patient care and monitoring before, during, and after procedures.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately using Merge Hemo and Meditech.
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including but not limited to PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Pernumbra.
- Perform EP Lab procedures including EP studies, pacemaker and ICD implantation, ablations (excluding cryo), Micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and lead extractions, including laser lead extractions.
- Float to prep and recovery areas as needed within the Cath Lab service line.

Schedule / Shift
4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or EP Lab setting.

Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- RCIS or RCES or RT(R)

Skills
- Proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring cardiac catheterization and/or electrophysiology procedures.
- Familiarity with GE and Philips X-ray systems.
- Experience with Volcano IVUS/FFR.
- Experience with Merge Hemo.
- Ability to perform complex PCI, CTO, and Shockwave procedures is required for complex PCI.
- Ability to perform laser lead extractions.

Adult cardiac patients requiring diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Unit / Specialty
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) and Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP Lab).
Unit includes 11 procedure rooms (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR).

Floating / On-Call
- Floating is limited to prep and recovery areas within the Cath Lab service line.
- On-call requirements are part of the schedule.
