  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Assistant to support licensed medical professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves a combination of clerical and clinical duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice, contributing to the implementation of care plans and ensuring efficient clinic operations.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Take and document vital signs; prepare patients for examinations
    2. Assist healthcare providers with procedures and treatments as needed
    3. Administer medications and injections under provider supervision; monitor patient responses
    4. Maintain accurate patient medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably Epic
    5. Use medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare team members
    6. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and positive patient experiences
    7. Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment while maintaining professionalism and patient confidentiality

    Required Qualifications
    1. High school diploma or GED certificate
    2. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
    3. Current CPR certification
    4. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory care setting
    5. Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Epic
    6. Demonstrated skills in patient rooming, vital signs measurement, injection administration, and medical record maintenance
    7. Strong teamwork, multitasking, and customer service skills

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in a high-volume ambulatory or specialty care clinic
    2. Additional certifications relevant to patient care or clinical assistance

    Certifications (if any)
    1. CPR Certification (current and valid)
    2. Clinical Assistant certification from an accredited program
