Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in Acute Rehabilitation provides patient-centered care focused on recovery and rehabilitation goals. This role involves assessing patient conditions, developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and assisting patients with mobility and activities of daily living (ADLs). The nurse plays a critical role in monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans, and ensuring safe, effective care in compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Provide wound care and dressing changes.
- Assist patients with mobility, exercises, and ADLs.
- Deliver post-surgical care and pain management.
- Perform IV therapy and catheter care.
- Ensure infection control and prevention protocols are followed.

Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Clinical experience in acute rehabilitation or related patient care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
