PlainText JOB SUMMARY This role performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and CT scans, primarily for patients in the emergency department setting. The technologist operates specialized imaging equipment, ensures patient safety, and maintains accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities • Perform X-ray and CT examinations to diagnose and treat medical conditions. • Operate GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE Tempo RAD units. • Ensure patient safety protocols are followed during all imaging procedures. • Prepare patients for examinations, including explaining procedures and answering questions. • Position patients and equipment correctly to obtain diagnostic images. • Review images for quality and completeness, making adjustments as necessary. • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system. • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. • Participate in the on-call rotation as required.

Required Qualifications • BLS certification • ARRT(R)(CT) certification • SCRQSA license • Experience in X-ray and CT procedures • Ability to function independently
Preferred Qualifications • Previous travel experience • Experience with GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE Tempo RAD units
