JOB SUMMARY Seeking an experienced ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist for a position in a Cardiac Cath Lab. This role involves assisting physicians with interventional cardiac procedures, including PCI, Impella, balloon pump insertions, and device implants. The technologist will function as a scrub tech and be responsible for operating imaging equipment and maintaining patient care during procedures.
Key Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. • Act as a scrub technologist for various cardiac procedures, including PCI, Impella, balloon pump insertions, device implants, and ablations. • Assist physicians with procedures such as lead revisions and ablations. • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment (Toshiba X-Ray, Cannon equipment). • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. • Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols. • Document patient care and procedures accurately in the EMR system. • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
Schedule / Shift • 4x10 Days • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM • On-call: 7 call shifts per 4-week schedule block, dependent upon staffing. • Includes 3 full weekend call shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) within the block.
Required Qualifications • ARRT Certification • Current MA License as Radiology Technologist • AHA BLS certification • AHA ACLS certification • Minimum of 3+ years of recent Cath/EP Lab experience required. • Experience with Interventional procedures (PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, ablations). • Must have scrub experience. • Proficiency in EPIC - Cupid EMR charting.
Preferred Qualifications • EP Lab specific experience preferred.
