JOB SUMMARY Seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing for a travel assignment. This role requires a compassionate and adaptable professional dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population within the Medical-Surgical unit. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Monitor patient vital signs and condition, recognizing and responding to changes promptly. - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Document patient information accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record. - Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions. - Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols. - Float to other Med Surg areas as needed to support unit operations.
Schedule / Shift - Nights - 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM - Every other weekend rotation
Required Qualifications - 1+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing. - Registered Nurse (RN) license in at least one US state. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Experience - Medical-Surgical Nursing: 1+ years
