  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of a clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee. This role requires precision, adherence to clinical standards, and the ability to support patient care in a specialized sleep study environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Conduct polysomnographic testing and analysis in accordance with established protocols.
    2. Perform interventions as directed by the clinical director or designee.
    3. Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
    4. Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
    5. Document findings and support clinical staff with patient care needs.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography, or successful completion of a polysomnography program of at least one year duration from a state-licensed or nationally accredited educational facility.
    2. Equivalent experience with documented proficiency in all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.
    3. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Additional technical training or certifications in sleep medicine or related fields.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification meeting American Heart Association standards (renewed every two years).
    2. Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (or equivalent).
