Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse – Telemetry to join our team. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, recognizing and responding to abnormal rhythms, and delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to act swiftly in emergent situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identifying and responding to arrhythmias or changes in condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding their condition, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and patient care protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
