Job Summary
The Registered Nurse – Travel provides high-quality patient care while working on temporary assignments across various healthcare facilities. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience while supporting hospitals and clinics in need of short-term nursing coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor treatment progress
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Adapt quickly to new environments, policies, and procedures across different facilities
- Provide compassionate care and maintain patient safety at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Strong adaptability and ability to work in diverse healthcare settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in multiple specialties (e.g., medical-surgical, ICU, ER)
Certifications (if any)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
