Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant provides essential support in a clinical setting by coordinating communication, assisting patients, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct incoming calls to appropriate staff and departments, facilitating communication between multiple offices.
- Provide efficient and compassionate client service by greeting patients, preparing them sensitively for procedures, and assisting physicians.
- Maintain clinic flow by escorting patients to designated labs and offices based on their individual needs.
- Design and implement organizational tools utilizing office technology to systematically track and restock supplies.
- Order medical supplies, analyze medical records for accuracy and completeness, and streamline procedures for efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
